I recently completed my PhD in Computer Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI) in the field of Natural Language Processing, under the supervision of Prof. Omri Abend and Dr. Renana Keydar. One focus of my work is the analysis of narratives, and long texts in general, with several projects on Holocaust testimonies. I am part of "The future of the past" group. Another focus is probabilistic properties of language modeling and the relationship between language (=word) and event (=world) modeling.

In addition to my academic work, I completed advanced studies in Jewish law (Yadin Yadin) at the Eretz Hemdah Institute for Advanced Jewish Studies, and served as an arbitrator in the Eretz Hemdah–Gazit rabbinical court. Bridging my academic and halachic expertise, I am currently also a research scientist at DICTA: The Israel Center for Text Analysis, designing AI-powered computational tools for retrieval and analysis of Hebrew texts. A notable project I'm part of is the Rav Dicta project – an AI rabbi for source-based halachic question answering. I also give talks on the intersection of AI and halacha, in Israel and abroad.
